An Palestinian-American teenager who spent a nine-month period in imprisonment by Israel without charge was released.

The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old during his detention in February in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing while residing in Florida for allegedly throwing stones at Jewish settlers, claims he consistently denied.

United States authorities said it welcomed the teenager's freedom.

Now sixteen years old, required hospitalization right after being freed, relatives told the media.

According to them, he appears visibly pale and thin, and experiencing medical problems acquired while detained.

Through an official statement, the youth's uncle spoke of the family's "tremendous relief".

Zeyad Kadur described how relatives endured "living a horrific and endless nightmare" over the last nine months.

"Right now, we're concentrating on getting Mohammed the immediate medical attention he needs after experiencing Israel's abuse and cruel circumstances over several months."

American authorities announced ongoing to offer diplomatic assistance for the Ibrahim family.

{"American leadership considers paramount to ensuring the safety of American nationals"," it added.

A group of American legislators submitted a formal letter to diplomatic officials and President Donald Trump, demanding more be done to release him.

Mohammed's parent, parent of four children who runs an ice cream business in Florida, previously claimed Mohammed acknowledged allegations about rock throwing after being assaulted by soldiers.

There were no visits nor direct contact following the detention, learning information solely regarding the treatment through judicial records.

He stayed lacking indictment at Ofer detention facility throughout the occupied territory.

The facility also contains adult prisoners, some of whom have been convicted regarding severe security violations and homicide.

There are around 350 Palestinian minors in security custody detained within Israeli facilities, according to the Israeli Prison Service.

Many have never been charged along with monitoring agencies, and international organizations, say some have suffered physical abuse and torture.

Subsequent to his liberation, the uncle stated the family would also continue fighting for justice for his cousin their cousin Sayfollah.

The dual national youth per medical officials died from beating by Israeli settlers during a confrontation during summer.

Initially, the Israeli military said officials were investigating information regarding a civilian had been killed.

Both young men collaborated in the family ice cream shop in Tampa, Florida.

No one has been charged with Sayfollah's killing.

"We demand United States leadership to safeguard our relatives," Mr Kadur said.
