'Living a Nightmare': Relatives of Missing Teens Await Information After Ski Resort Blaze

The loved ones of young people lost after a tragic fire at a bar in a Swiss winter destination are confronting an painful wait for answers and requesting information about their children publicly.

The blaze ripped through the a popular bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the middle of the night of the first day of the year. Verified images show the ceiling catching alight as bottles with fireworks are held aloft.

Emergency services have stated that it could take days if not weeks to formally name the those who perished of the fire, which claimed the lives of four dozen individuals and hurt another scores more. Authorities said on the latest update that the majority of the injured have been accounted for, with efforts continuing to locate the final individuals.
