Tributes Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

Over a fortnight following the shocking loss of celebrated film director Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community persist in remembering the couple.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Posting on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, explained he finally felt prepared to post publicly about his personal sorrow.

"Enough time has elapsed that I can at last put my grief into words," wrote Elwes, saying that his introductory moment with Reiner created an instant bond. "As we began passing more hours together I knew this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor posted behind-the-scenes footage from the production, adding that he cannot recall "any day without mirth".

"The movie is about affection, allegiance and giving. Principles that Rob valued immensely. Which is among the many reasons he was the perfect person to direct it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, noting: "Claiming that they were a formidable pair would be an understatement. My heart still hurts every time I recall you." He ended with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Friend and Collaborator

In a different piece, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the main character.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked wonderfully with his co-stars, and he comprehended the human predicament of his character," Scorsese noted.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Restricted

Recently, a Los Angeles court official ruled to block the release of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, after an appeal from the local authorities.

A legal directive issued a embargo on the files to restrict the public release of "related notes, notes, reports or photos" pertaining to the ongoing investigation.

The relevant authority had earlier stated their deaths were the result of homicide, with a public database listing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Fallout and Commentary

Following the tragedy, public figures shared divergent reactions.

Former President Donald Trump commented on the matter, providing provocative claims that were widely condemned by many individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his criticism to the those speaking out last week. Conversing on his show, Rogan characterized the remarks as "disturbing" and suggested they revealed a troubling absence of compassion.

Rogan concluded by remarking that an adviser should have intervened when the choice to speak on the tragedy was made.
